Sheffield’s ever-reliable DIY promoters Jarred Up are launching a brand-new festival at Sidney & Matilda and it’s set to bring a diverse line-up, brimming with fresh British talent.
Salutations Festival, taking place on Friday 25th April, will see five up-and-coming acts take to the stage in an intimate celebration of indie, folk, punk, and everything in between. Headlining the night are The New Eves, a Brighton-based folk-punk quartet whose blend of raw energy and captivating melodies is fast gaining national attention.

They’ll be joined by the genre-defying Langkamer (think indie meets country with a healthy splash of chaos), melodic Welsh outfit Pys Melyn, local punk favourites Good News, and the cinematic folk-rock sounds of The Slow Country.
Jarred Up founder James Watkins explains: “We see Salutations as the lighter side of what we do at Jarred Up. While we’re often known for booking heavier or punkier acts, this festival lets us show the breadth of what we’re passionate about – it’s going to be a wholesome affair and a proper fun night out. Every act on the line-up represents the amazing rising talent we have in the UK right now.”

As a smaller-scale event, Salutations keeps things tight and quality-focused, continuing Jarred Up’s mission to shine a spotlight on the most exciting names bubbling up from the underground.
And with ticket offers currently running (including 3-for-2 and 5-for-4 group deals), it’s a perfect excuse to gather your pals and catch some future favourites in one of Sheffield’s finest indie venues.
