Sheffield’s premier DIY music promoters, Jarred Up, return with the second iteration of Jarred Up Festival on 25th October 2025, taking over all three stages at Sidney & Matilda. Following last year’s sold-out debut, the festival is back with another stellar lineup and looks to cement itself as one of the must-see events on the Sheff calendar.

This year’s first wave of artists has been announced, with Nottingham’s Do Nothing confirmed as headliners. Fresh off their sold-out Independent Venue Week tour and with new music on the way, their set at Jarred Up Festival comes at an exciting time for both the band and their fans. You can listen to their latest single, Summer of Hate, here:

Joining them are Norwich-based psychedelic band Floral Image, Bristol queer-punk trio Grandmas House, Manchester-based Georgian, and South London five-piece Yowl – with plenty more names yet to be revealed.

Last year’s festival saw Australian dance-punk trio DZ Deathrays headline, alongside acts like Vona Vella, Baba Ali, Cooper T, Duvet, Gallus, and Home Counties.

James Watkins, founder of Jarred Up, shared his excitement: “Last year was our first-ever festival, and it was amazing. Securing acts like DZ Deathrays, Cooper T, Baba Ali, and Home Counties was incredible, and this year is no different!”

“Do Nothing are a band we’ve known for a while, and we’re really excited to have them headline. Overall, we’ve aimed to book artists who stray from the usual indie-rock/pop formulas that get regurgitated in Sheffield (looking at you, The Reytons). With music running across three different rooms all day, the festival is going to have a real buzz for attendees!”

“This year, we’re not just looking to sell out again – we want to grow the festival and cement it as a must-see event for affordable, inner-city festivals.”

Paul Tuffs, owner of Sidney & Matilda, added: “We’re absolutely buzzing to have Jarred Up Festival back at Sidney & Matilda! Last year’s event was a highlight for us – so many quality touring bands, plus some of Sheffield’s strongest local talent.”

“Do Nothing is a fantastic headliner, and we can’t wait to welcome them back. Our partnership with Jarred Up is an important part of the Sheffield music scene, and with our shared focus on independent, up-and-coming music, this festival is set to become a key event in the city’s live music calendar.”

Super Early Bird tickets have already sold out, with Early Bird tickets now available for £25. Prices will rise with each ticket release, so fans are encouraged to book early to secure the best deal.

More artists will be announced throughout the year. Follow Jarred Up on Instagram, Facebook, or visit www.jarreduphq.com for updates.
