Steel City Ensemble announce FORGE Warehouse takeover this June for ‘unforgettable’ event

Get ready to immerse yourself in a musical journey like no other as Steel City Ensemble (SCE) takes over FORGE Warehouse on Effingham Road for an unforgettable event on 7^th June.

Spread across four dynamic stages – the main Warehouse, the courtyard, the intimate Workroom, and the new outdoor stage, The Beach – SCE promises a twelve-hour sonic adventure, from 4pm until 4am!

Steel Dancin, the driving force behind the event, has envisioned a grand charity event since their inception in Sheffield nearly two years ago. SCE is not just a celebration of music but also a testament to the vibrant Sheffield music community and its exceptionally talented local artists, DJs, producers, and musicians.

With eleven of Sheffield’s finest underground DIY music collectives joining forces, including newcomers like A57 Audio and Grass Collective, alongside established names such as Mondo Radio and Wub Club, SCE ensures to be a melting pot of creativity and collaboration.

Music enthusiasts can anticipate an eclectic mix of genres, from garage to reggae, house to techno, jazz to jungle, and bassline to breaks. Each collective brings its unique sound and style, curating a diverse line-up that guarantees something for every taste.

Prepare for a seamless transition of electrifying performances as the day unfolds into night. In addition to some amazing music, there will also be an array of local food vendors, creatives, and stalls at the event creating somewhat of a festival atmosphere.
