Sheffield Multi-instrumentalist Yarni has announced the release of upcoming single Bluffin’, available on digital platforms now.
The record will also be available on limited edition vinyl from 1 November and is the debut release on the musician’s own label, Stanhope Records, which takes its name from Stanhope Road in Intake, a road where both Jarvis Cocker and Yarni once lived!

In collaboration with a Sheffield based vinyl lathe cutter, just a limited 50 hand-embossed 7” records have been created with accompanying artwork, inspired by a 1950’s American diner, created by fellow Sheffield artist Sapling Studios.
Bluffin’ exemplifies Yarni’s collaborative ethos, featuring the vocals of Amber Temple and an ensemble of musicians who bring to life a sound that fuses R’n’B, funk, and catchy pop sensibilities.
The record’s B-side features a live interpretation of the single that has a stripped back Latin-vibe, focused on smooth vocals supported by a suppressed version of piano solos and strings.
The single follows on from the previous successes of the Yarni project, which was created by self-taught multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Harris in 2015 and is now a fully-fledged creative hub for artists to produce eclectic blurs of melody, genres and artistic intellect.

Singles and albums released under the Yarni banner have amassed over 4.5 million streams and have picked up the support of DJ’s such as Gilles Peterson, Andrew Weatherall, DJ Harvey, and Luke Una.
Bluffin’ is available on limited edition vinyl through Yarni’s website from 1 November. https://www.yarni.co/store
