Outdoor film screening specialists the Village Screen has announced a trio of showings at the Peak Cavern cave in Castleton over Halloween weekend.
On Friday 25 October, the Peak Cavern cave (affectionately known as the Devil’s Arse) will be transformed into a poltergeist’s paradise as they screen the terrifying paranormal horror, The Conjuring. Based on a true story, The Conjuring is a truly scary horror that will have cinema goers jumping from their seats within one of the UK’s best show caves.
On Saturday 26 October, Steven Speilberg’s 1982 classic supernatural horror Poltergeist will be shown before the Village Screen tackles ghosts and ghouls in the screening of 80s classic hit, Ghostbusters on Sunday.
Ahead of each screening, they’ll be transforming an area of the Peak Cavern car park into a street food haven, with food to relish from excellent local street food vendors, plus fantastic music by a live band.
The Village Screen bar will be serving a selection of refreshing drinks, including craft beers, wines, prosecco, soft drinks, and themed cocktails throughout the evening. Cinema-goers will be able to grab a box of fresh popcorn before making their way into the cave to watch the film.
