A group of musicians, venue staff and Tramlines staff are raising money in memory of the late Tramlines director Sarah Nulty by running the Sheffield half-marathon in April.
The team, which includes Tramlines’ Timm Cleasby, O2 Academy’s Mike McQuillan and some of the Leadmill’s staff are raising money for Weston Park Cancer Charity and Cavendish Cancer Care in memory of Sarah Nulty who sadly passed away last summer.
A statement on behalf of the team said: “As many of you know, Sheffield hero and Tramlines director Sarah Nulty passed away last year, so alongside an Avengers-style team of Sheffield promoters, DJs, musicians and bar folk, we’re running a half marathon in her memory. We’re all terribly unfit with most of our diets consisting of takeaway pizza and Curly Wurlys so please give what you can.
“Sarah was a huge inspiration to us all and left an indelible mark on this city and our lives. She loved to keep fit and would have found us all attempting to do this absolutely hilarious. Please help us make what could be a huge mistake worth it.”
UPDATE: The total raised is almost at a whopping 15k. You can donate to the cause here.
