Haunted Screenings will return to one of Sheffield’s most atmospheric and storied landmark in the General Cemetery this October for a weekend of film screenings. 


Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride and Addams Family Values will be the afternoon screening, whilst The Woman in Black and the Awakening will be shown later in the evening across the weekend of 19-20 October.

Visitors will be greeted at the Cemetery Gatehouse ahead of the screening and briefed before setting off to explore the sprawling pathways of Sheffield’s most storied landmark by torchlight in the dead of the night.

The challenge is to reach the chapel with your nerves intact to enjoy one of our chilling haunting screenings. If you make it that far…
Tickets: £16.50

Late afternoon Screenings – for spooksters…
You will be greeted at the cemetery gatehouse and briefed for your spooky trail. Explore the winding pathways of the cemetery grounds discovering hidden secrets, and Halloween treasures before heading to the Chapel to watch the wonderfully spooky films on offer.
Tickets: £8.50 – £10.50

Drinks & Snacks
You’ll be greeted at the epic Samuel Worth Chapel where drinks and snacks will be available for purchase, including a licensed bar to steady your nerves, before settling in to enjoy the film.

Films on offer over the weekend include: Addams Family Values, The Woman in Black, The Corpse Bride, and The Awakening.

Tickets for the afternoon showings start at £8.50 and evening showings are £16.50, with entry and pre-film included in the ticket. There will also be a bar on hand to quench the thirst.
