A brand-new alternative music festival is set to shake up Sheffield next month, as Shreddler makes its debut at Peddler Warehouse on Saturday 12 April 2025. The all-day event is a collaboration between the award-winning Peddler Market, Festivile, and While She Sleeps vocalist Lawrence ‘Loz’ Taylor, promising a stacked lineup of heavy-hitting talent from across the alternative scene.
Handpicked by Loz Taylor and BBC Introducing’s Christian Carlisle, the first-ever Shreddler will feature an mix of established and emerging artists. So far, the bill includes Delilah Bon, Lake Malice, Sick Joy, Oversize, Rough Justice, and Tropic Gold, with more names yet to be announced.
Alongside a full day of live music, festivalgoers can expect top-tier street food and a selection of craft drinks from Peddler’s renowned bars. And when the final band leaves the stage, the party continues at neighbouring venue Factory Floor, where the official afterparty will run from 11pm to 2am.

Speaking about the launch, festival curator Loz Taylor said: “It’s so important that we create events and spaces that celebrate alternative music. If you love metal, shoegaze, new wave, grunge, or any of the other genres out there, I want to make sure people have access to enjoy them. I’m passionate about bringing music to the community where I’m from.
“That’s why it’s so exciting to work with Peddler and Festivile to help bring Shreddler to Sheffield. Christian and I have loved curating amazing talent to appear on the day – it’s going to be a good one!”
The festival is open to all ages, though under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
