Sheffield’s self-styled, modern-day Robin Hood, Robin Loxley, has once again created a buzz in the city with the launch of a new treasure hunt that leads to a £5,000 prize.
The mystery benefactor has began releasing clues today (May 17) and will continue dropping clues on social media until May 22.
The first clue, revealed at 12pm today on Instagram, is a short video which includes a map, spinning compass points, cut logs, a neon number 4, a car park, a house and a beaver! The video is soundtracked by the Joywave song – It’s a Trip.

According to recent posts there will be cash and prizes along the way for anyone who finds them.
Previously back in 2019, Robin left £20 notes in the street before giving away £500 and £1,000 in gold coins and ingots that he dished out to ‘deserving people’.
On Christmas Eve the same year, he dropped £2,000 to lucky shoppers at Meadowhall.
