Lewis Capaldi announces a UK and Ireland tour following his Glastonbury triumph and the release of his new single ‘Survive’. The new single has very quickly skyrocketed to number 1 in the UK charts after just two days. Capaldi made an astonishing appearance at Glastonbury, attracting a headliner-sized crowd at the pyramid stage with his soaring vocals leading them through classics such as ‘Hold Me Whilst You Wait’ and ‘Someone You Loved.’ In his first appearance in over two years away from the spotlight, the singer struck crowds’ hearts as he explained ‘I just wanted to finish what I couldn’t finish last time.’
The singer’s tour is set to come to Sheffield, amongst other cities such as Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin, and London. Capaldi sets dates for his September 2025 tour, with his Sheffield appearance being on Sunday the 7th of September at Sheffield Utilita Arena. The two-time Brit Award winner will take to the Utilita Arena stage and perform some of his greatest hits such as ‘Someone You Loved’ which is the Uk’s most streamed song and ‘Forget Me’ that was written with hitmakers that have worked with Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd. The pre-sale tickets are out Tuesday 8th July at 9am and the general sale tickets are out Thursday 10th July at 9am.
