As part of the annual BBC Music Day, Jarvis Cocker will be making a special appearance on Bargain Hunt in September. No, really!
The Pulp frontman and all-round Sheffield legend will be pitted against Bez from the Happy Mondays for the one-off special with both stars attempting to sell antiques for profit.
Jarvis will be joined by Pulp keyboardist Candida Doyle, whilst Bez will be joined by singer Rowetta Idah.
The special programme will air in September to mark the fourth annual BBC Music Day, with a number of artists taking part in a celebration of music.
Following in the footsteps of Ozzy Osbourne, Miles Kane and Shaun Ryder last year, Kylie Minogue will be voicing train announcements at stations across the country.
Director of BBC Music Bob Shennan said: “The UK is truly a nation of music lovers. BBC Music Day aims to bring the nation together to celebrate this, from pop and rock to classical and choirs and everything in between. There really is something for everyone to enjoy!”
BBC Music Day takes place on 28 September. Head here for more information.
