Independent burger restaurant Fat Hippo will open its doors on Division Street on Friday 6 November, bringing beef burgers, buttermilk chicken and loaded sides to Sheffield city centre.
Moving into 32–34 Division Street, the restaurant will arrive with a recently revamped menu, including bigger beef patties, new buns and a burger and side starting from £11.90.

The brand has increased its signature patties from 100g to 140g, using 28-day dry-aged beef supplied by butcher Aubrey Allen. Bespoke sesame seed buns are another new addition, alongside the buttermilk chicken, signature sauces and loaded sides that have helped build Fat Hippo’s following.
With the opening just a fortnight away, Sheffield diners won’t have long to wait to get stuck in. A handful will also get the chance to try the menu a day early, with Fat Hippo hosting an invitation-only preview on Thursday 5 November.

The restaurant is giving away 10 ‘Golden Tickets’, each covering a meal for two at the pre-opening evening. Anyone hoping to bag a spot can enter the competition here, with successful entrants contacted directly by Fat Hippo.
Fat Hippo opens on Friday 6 November at 32–34 Division Street, Sheffield, S1 4GF. Find out more at fathippo.co.uk.
