Corporation Sheffield is turning the clock back to 2001 with a one-night 50p drinks promotion as part of celebrations marking 25 years at its Milton Street home.

The city’s long-running alternative club will host a special throwback edition of its flagship student night, Monday Corp, on Monday 9 March. For the event, drinks prices will be rolled back to 50p, recreating the famously cheap deals that helped define the venue’s early years.

Since relocating to Milton Street in 2001, Monday Corp has grown into one of Sheffield’s most recognisable weekly student nights. Known for its multi-room music policy and high-energy atmosphere, the event has become a rite of passage for generations of students and a staple of the city’s Monday nightlife.

The throwback event is intended to give current clubgoers a taste of the venue’s early-2000s spirit while celebrating the crowds who have supported Corporation over the past quarter-century.

Corporation managing director David Savereux said the promotion was a way to mark the legacy of the night.

“Monday Corp has been a defining part of our venue’s history for 25 years. Rolling prices back to 2001 is both a thank you to the generations who’ve supported us and a celebration of the student culture that continues to shape Sheffield’s nightlife.”

The 50p special is the first in a series of anniversary events planned throughout 2026. Corporation says further celebrations – including themed nights and retrospective events – will be announced in the coming months.

Monday Corp’s 50p throwback special takes place on Monday 9 March, from 11pm to 3am. Admission is 18+ and tickets are available here.
