Working alongside Meze Publishing, Batch Tea mad hatters Marc and Owen have been brewing plans to create a book designed especially for people who love tea as much as they do, and on 21 May (which just so happens to be International Tea Day!) they launch a crowd funder with to stir up support for the book’s release.
Marc and Owen are not only passionate about tea, but love to experiment with it too. In their new book, you’ll find a vast selection of teas being used in a wide variety of recipes. Whether it’s baked goods, cocktails, or even soaps, there is always room to transform them into an interesting tea-infused creation.
Marc Riley said: “It doesn’t matter where you like to buy your tea (although it’s good to make sure it’s a sustainable and ethical source) it’s about what you do with it!”
Through an incredible collaborative effort with independent companies across the UK, including breweries, restaurants, and candle companies, a compilation of ingenious recipes and projects to try at home are being created that they are sure you’re going to fall in love with. Through the book you will discover an array of new ways to use tea.
The Crowdfunder page offers a taster of what’s to come, with a special three-course fine tea-dining menu event including tea infused cocktails, incorporating recipes from the book, amongst other great rewards.
You can also show your support by pre-ordering a signed copy to be delivered to your house along with Batch Tea tea samples, gin, and other goodies such as totes, T-shirts and hoodies. With your generosity, we will be able to have the book ready to hit the shelves later this year.
