Get your glasses ready, Sheffield. Cocktail Week is officially back from Friday 4 to Sunday 13 September 2026, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest edition yet. Spanning two full weekends, the 10 day celebration will see cocktail bars, breweries, restaurants and hidden speakeasies across the city pour their finest signature serves, roll out exclusive cocktail menus, and throw the doors open to anyone chasing the ultimate day or night out.

One wristband is your key to the whole city: signature cocktails from £5 at every participating venue, exclusive alcohol-free serves for the sober-curious, and food offers to soak it all up. Whether you’re a negroni purist, a daiquiri devotee, or firmly team mocktail, there’s a glass with your name on it somewhere in Sheffield this September.

Who’s pouring?

What’s in the glass

Every venue is bringing its own signature showstopper, and the early previews are seriously good. Expect Forum’s Pink Aperol Sour, a vibrant, bittersweet mix of Aperol, fresh lemon and strawberry, alongside Sheffield Plate’s Strawberry & Lychee Daiquiri, bringing eastern-inspired sweetness to a classic. The Common Room is shaking up Kick Off!, a fruity raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant number, while Riverside Kelham goes full sunshine mode with its Riverside Peach Iced Tea.

Over at Tiger Works, it’s all about the Tiger Juice, a tropical vodka-tequila-cherry-coconut hit, while Kapital is going seasonal with its Harvest Rum Old Fashioned, blending summer and autumn fruits into one decadent stirred serve. The Psalter is welcoming in the new season with the September Orchard, blackberry, apple and honey in a warming autumnal sour, plus a full exclusive cocktail menu running all week. The Local turns up the heat with its Chilli Yuzu Margarita, and Skylight Bar & Club is serving Bird on the Nest alongside its own dedicated Cocktail Week menu.

And it’s not just about the alcohol: every venue is doing a mocktail alongside its signature cocktail, so no one has to sit Cocktail Week out. Several venues are also throwing in food offers for wristband holders, from 20% off mains at Kapital to 20% off food at Forum, The Common Room and Riverside Kelham, because a proper night out needs proper fuel.

Backing Sheffield’s bars and hospitality scene

Sheffield Cocktail Week isn’t just a party. It’s a vital boost for the independent cocktail bars, breweries and restaurants that make this city’s nightlife what it is. After years of rising costs and squeezed margins, local hospitality needs the city behind it, and Cocktail Week does exactly that: driving footfall and midweek trade into locally run venues and putting a spotlight on the bartenders and teams who pour their creativity into every single serve.

Every wristband sold and every cocktail ordered is a direct vote of confidence in Sheffield’s independent hospitality scene, so this September, drinking local really does mean something.
