At a loose end tonight? If local music and boozey games sound like your idea of a good night (why wouldn’t it?) then head down to Café Totem for the Two Birds launch party.
The new Sheffield-based promotions company is celebrating its launch by hosting a free night with a stellar line up of local acts, plus beer pong and jello shots to liven up the evening. 6 local bands including Liberty Ship, The Wired, Frazer will be spinning Yorkshire tunes all night, with Leadmill DJ Alex Cooper taking the decks too.
Two Birds combines the talents of Casie Templar and Eleanor Fidler. They’ll be offering artists promotions and PR/marketing expertise to help them build their audience across the country. They’re also setting up a blog to promote artists through interviews and reviews.
Look out for them at Tramlines Fringe this year – they’re already collaborating with one of the weekend’s most lively venues – Crystal. They’ll be helping make the stage a success with acts including The Rosadocs, Conor Houston and Scarlet already confirmed.
