Maybe it’s the boundless energy, maybe it’s the sense of nostalgia, or maybe it’s just the fact that they know exactly how to throw a party, whatever the case may be, there’s something special about a Terrorvision gig. Corporation was packed out for the first night of their 2025 tour, proving that the Bradford rockers still have the power to pull a crowd and they only had to nip down the road to kick things off.
From the moment they stepped on stage, dressed to impress in their finest fits, it was clear they weren’t here to mess about. Frontman Tony Wright, ever the charismatic ringmaster, wasn’t about to let anyone stand still. Spotting a few reluctant movers in the crowd, he called them out and asked, “What’s up? Are you cold? Don’t worry, there’s hoodies at the merch stand!” And just in case anyone was concerned about the integrity of their knees, he reassured them, “I tested out the floor earlier… the concrete’s got some give, you’ll be fine jumping around!”
With that, the night truly kicked off. Opening with Discotheque Wreck, the band wasted no time setting the tone for an electric evening. Touring in support of their latest album We Are Not Robots, the setlist was a solid mix of old and new, and the crowd lapped up every second of it. Tracks like Electrocuted and Lucifer from the new record slotted in seamlessly among the classics, proving that Terrorvision’s knack for anthemic rock is still alive and well.

But it was Alice, What’s the Matter? that really made the crowd come alive, the entire room shouting back the chorus. Perseverance and Pretend Best Friend kept the energy sky-high, while You Gotta Want to Be Happy brought a welcome shift in mood. There’s something undeniably fun about a band that doesn’t take themselves too seriously, but make no mistake, Terrorvision still know how to deliver a top-tier rock show.
Between songs, Wright’s banter kept the momentum going, at one point admitting, “I don’t know what day it is, but it’s a good time!” And honestly, that summed up the night pretty well.
Of course, no Terrorvision gig would be complete without Oblivion, the track that launched them into the mainstream back in the ’90s. Bradford might not be far up the road, but wherever they play, Terrorvision make it feel like home, and if this sold-out Corporation show was anything to go by, they’re only getting better with age.
Special guests for the whole tour are Welsh melodic rockers Skarlett Rebels who did a stellar job of warming up the crowd from the moment they set foot on stage. Their high-energy set, packed with anthemic riffs and undeniable chemistry, set the perfect tone for the night. A band that clearly loves what they do, they made sure the audience was fully fired up for what was to come.
