Alternative rock band Red Rum Club will be performing at the O2 Academy 2 as part of the first leg of their UK autumn tour on 26 September.
The Liverpudlian six-piece are rising stars within the music scene and have built a huge following through hard work and playing everywhere and anywhere. A pivotal moment for Red Rum Club this year was performing on the BBC Music Introducing Stage at Glastonbury and having BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens championing the band after an exhilarating live performance.
Since Glastonbury, the group have headlined the This Feeling stage at many other festivals, including Truckfest, Tramlines and YNOT. This month, Red Rum Club will be performing with The 1975 at the Summer Well Festival in Romania and Miles Kane at the Skeleton Coast Festival in Wirral.
Last year, the band signed a record deal with Modern Sky UK and their debut album ‘Matador’ was released to rave reviews. The album positioned at number 47 in the UK Official Album Chart, number 5 in the Alternative Chart, and just recently number 12 in the Official UK Album Vinyl Chart.
Tickets are on sale now at £11.25, grab them from the O2’s website here.
