If you’re looking for late-night DJ fun to celebrate the Fringe at Tramlines, much-loved Castlegate venue Plot 22 will be serving up everything from old-school hip-hop flows to high-energy breakbeats and electro.

Starting tonight at 9pm, you can groove to old school hip-hop anthems with Izuku, serving up an electrifying mix of nostalgic classics and crowd-pleasing hits. Vibrant Sheffield-based rapper Hyphyn will be taking to the mic afterwards, bringing clean flows and catchy hooks to the stage before Rasiah takes over with a mix of hard-hitting lyricism, old school vibes and wavy flows.

Closing out the night will be Scotland’s dynamic rap duo, Tzusan + Shogun (Medallion Man on decks), who will be showcasing their hard-hitting lyricism, warming things up for an emerging talent cypher hosted by the renowned DJ Forca, featuring a selection of homegrown and outta town talent: versatile lyricist Ace Gray alongside rising stars KidBlu3, Aleroh and Zhay.

The following evening, Friday 21st July, will see Plot 22 linking up with Zone 88 to present some of the biggest partystarters you’ll find in the Steel City this weekend. Zone 88 residents SEYK & Creola will be on warm-up duties, rolling through the first 90 minutes with a staple of breakbeats, electro and acid. Atlanta-based Nikki Nair will step into the Zone at 1:30am for a super special set of choppy breakbeats, bass driven electronic sounds and high energy – before the night is closed out in the style with Shawn Cartier bringing the extra saucy booty shakers and one of Sheff’s most proficient selectas, Zubz, seeing things out in big energy style!
