It was announced today that Sheffield music royalty Jarvis Cocker will be playing two dates at Castleton’s Peak Cavern (known locally as the Devil’s Arse) as part of a small UK tour this year.
The Pulp frontman will be playing the historic cave, based just a short drive from Sheffield centre, on 6th/7th April 2018. The 500-capacity venue has previously hosted gigs from the likes of Richard Hawley and The Vaccines in its natural amphitheatre space.
Dates have also been announced in Manchester, London, Liverpool, Brighton and Ramsgate – leading to speculation that Jarvis will be releasing new solo material following last year’s Room 29 album with Chilly Gonzalez. We’ve reached out to his people for comment.
Sit tight. Tickets go live here at 11am TODAY.
