Ever heard of Girl-power?
Here’s an event that delivers girl-power vibes to the absolute max. Come Play with Me, Brighter Sound and HER music PR have decided to team up to bring to us Yorkshire’s first all-female line-up music festival. Not only is it the perfect opportunity to celebrate the amazing women of the music industry but it’s also the time to help remedy the gender unevenness globally seen at all the main stream festivals. 2017 revealed the shocking statistics that only 14% of acts were female across all UK festivals. HER FEST is here to make a change to those figures. On November 3rd, Abbeydale Road’s Picture House Social will be hosts to the event that promotes an awesome line-up of music, including ‘She Drew the Gun’ as the headline act.
