Madchester legends Happy Mondays are bringing their Greatest Hits Tour to Sheffield on 22 November. 


The Manchester band are embarking on a 29-date UK tour and are set to bring their iconic funk rock to the O2 Academy.

The tour begins in October and commences in December. It will see the usual lineup of Shaun Ryder, Bez, Rowetta, Gary Whelan, Paul Ryder, Mark Day and Dan Broad take centre stage to play some of their classic hits such as: Step On, Kinky Afro, Hallelujah.

Happy Mondays frontman, Shaun Ryder, said: “Be great to be back out on the road with Happy Mondays for some pre-Christmas partying. Looking forward to playing all the hits and more at these shows.”

While Rowetta added: “I’m really looking forward to this tour, almost 30 years since I first got on stage with the Mondays. The band and the fans are like family to me and I still love singing these songs as much as I did in 1990.”

Tickets go on sale Friday the 22nd of February at 10am and cost £35 before fees.
