Sheffield-based DJ/producer Andy Nicholson, formerly a bassist with Arctic Monkeys, has released a new visual to accompany single ‘The Thunder’ taken from his self-titled GOLDTEETH EP.
Since leaving the Monkeys in 2006, Nicholson has immersed himself in a series of creative projects – from early ventures with Sheffield band Mongrels to more recently working with a range of local artists as part of production duo Sticky Blood. The new EP and GOLDTEETH project is a statement of intent from the artist, fusing a range of genres across five tracks for a psychedelic, bass-heavy experience that has drawn comparisons to Mac DeMarco and Tame Impala.
