Gatecrasher goes classical

Legendary Sheffield clubbing institution Gatecrasher have teamed up with the 30-piece Up North Orchestra for a 2 night residency at City hall from October 20-21st.

The concerts are part of Gatecrasher’s 24th birthday celebrations and will feature some of the biggest trance tracks of the Gatecrasher years like you’ve never heard them before.

Hosted by original resident Judge Jules and curated by Scott Bond, the show will feature tracks and remixes by Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Tiesto, Faithless, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk,  Robert Miles and live performances with the original vocalists from ‘As The Rush Comes’, ‘Skydive’ and ‘Bullet in The Gun’.

Known the world over for their famous production, Gatecrasher Classical will feature some of the most technologically advanced laser & light shows around, plus an array of special FX to Sheffield City Hall.

Richard Hunter, Sheffield City Hall General Manager, told Exposed: “We’re delighted that Gatecrasher, one of the most iconic clubbing brands in the world, have chosen Sheffield City Hall for this hometown celebration. Club nights at Gatecrasher and classical concerts at the City Hall are two essential parts of Sheffield’s musical identity so it’s particularly exciting to be able to bring them together and give local audiences something new to experience.”

You can secure Gatecrasher Classical tickets now for 20th October and there are around 100 tickets left for 21st October. VIP 1 and VIP 2 ticket packages include access to the VIP Entrance and pre-party downstairs in the Ballroom, with a free glass of bubbly on arrival and a DJ set (TBC).
