Sheffield-based musician Ed Cosens has released a new video to accompany single ‘Madeleine’. The track is the third part of a series of short films taken from his debut solo album, ‘Fortunes Favour’, set for release April 9th.
Following on from previous releases ‘If’ and ‘The River’, Cosens continues the project in collaboration with Manchester production studio Flat Cats Films. ‘Madeleine’ has a romantic narrative in its lyrics, and the visual performances are a passionate portrayal of unchecked love and powerful emotions.
Having been on the Sheffield scene for 10 years, Cosens is known for being the guitarist in Reverend & The Makers and co-writing a number of the band’s songs. He has poured years of songwriting experience into this album, and the videos are equally as beautiful in their rich storytelling and brooding atmospherics.
