London ska outfit Chainska Brassika will be making waves across the UK this April. Their own brand of horn-driven tunes are brought to you by a full brass section, entertaining audiences across Europe and the UK for the past two years, with BBC 1xtra’s David Rodigan dubbing them as “real musicians, real band, real brass section… fabulous and so refreshing.”
Following their first album Skinna in 2015, this year they’ll be releasing their sophomore album this July, which they recorded at the acclaimed Harry J Studios in Kingston, Jamaica. Check out first single ‘Don’t You Try’ with the legendary Toots Hibbert of Toots & The Maytals below.
After winning the first ever World Reggae Contest, touring with Madness, playing the likes of Glastonbury, Notting Hill Carnival and Poland’s Ostroda Reggae, the band will be hitting The Harley on Monday April 17th 2017.
