Plug will be hosting a night in February dedicated to Dr. Dre’s iconic 2001 album, complete with covers and orchestral renditions.
No Strings Attached, a collaborative project from some of Europe’s most accredited orchestras and event promoters will be lighting up the Matilda Street on 16 February venue with some pretty biblical versions of ‘Still Dre’, ‘Forgot About Dre’ and ‘The Message’.
Plug said: “This body of work features so many intricate musical layers, we have brought in one of the UK’s leading Orchestras to perform a complete rendition of the album and some of Dre’s west coast classics from start to finish. Accompanied by DJ’s, singers, and lyricists – this is not your average Orchestral event. We’re extremely excited to bring this production to Plug in Sheffield.”
An Orchestral Rendition of Dr. Dre is coming to Sheffield on 16 February, tickets start from £21 and can be ordered here.
Signing off on the event, Plug, rather hilariously, added: “Dr Dre will not be attending this event. This is an orchestral rendition event performing covers and renditions.”
