Sheffield 80s music legend Martyn Ware is gracing his hometown with a unique electronic music experience for a one night only spectacle.
“Music for Total 3D Sonic Immersion” is Ware’s latest musical creation which promises to transport audiences to a three dimensional immersive sound bath inside the Octagon Centre.
His 43 year career as an artist, producer and passionate educator is most memorable for the formation of the iconic 80s bands Human League and Heaven 17, but his latest triptych of work, which he will showcase on Saturday 6th May, takes inspiration from the ever-evolving relationship between humans and technology
The performance will follow an unconventional format specifically created for this concert, allowing for a multitude of elements of compositions to be distributed throughout the auditorium by using the unique layout of the Octagon.
Ware has self-described the event as “a completely one-off experience for lovers of sonic beauty and immersion – 100% unmissable.” and is set to be joined by many guest stars throughout the night, including Tim Whether and Chrub Sanson as well as a few on the night surprises as well.
If you are a lover of electronic music and are after a way to enjoy this type of sound like never before, head down to the Octagon Centre next Saturday night. Tickets start from £17 and can be purchased here: https://performancevenues.group.shef.ac.uk/event/almost-human-a-triptych-in-3d/
