An old favourite is returning to the city centre bar scene as The Devonshire will revert back to its original name as the Old House, a once-popular boozer amongst ale drinkers and gin lovers from a few years back.
The venue boasts award-winning pies, customisable Sunday roast dinners, an extensive cocktail menu and a range of craft beers and real ales and will be re-opening its doors from Friday 21 June.
If this is the first time you’ve heard of The Old House, you can expect an eclectic home-from-home pub atmosphere playing tunes in a quirky, cosy setting with a nod to mid-20th-century décor. It’s a bit of us, really.
The Old House first opened its doors in August 2007, back then it was known for having no pretence, just good drinks, great food and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
