The Mowbray have been hosting events like weddings and private dining for the last few years, if you have a wedding you need a venue for or a birthday party you’ve been planning for a while, they’ve got you covered. But now, The Mowbray is proud to present French-Cine, an opportunity to wine and dine all the while watching a movie – think of a drive-in but without the drive and whole lot of fine French cuisine. And don’t think you’ll be getting the likes of Steven Spielberg in this house, no, The Mowbray will be taking you back to the glory days of the French New Wave with the likes of Goddard and Cocteau.
Why not pop open a bottle of Bourgogne Pinot Noir, they go together beautifully with some fresh-baked baguettes and warm lesure butter. There will be some sweetly savoury meals with slow-cooked beef-cheek bourguignon, a mushroom pancetta with fresh-cut herbs. This is certain to be just as much a feast for the eyes as it will be for the taste-buds, the very best that France has to offer all right here in South Yorkshire.
