The Leadmill and Thornbridge Brewery have teamed up to create a commemorative beer, Leadmill IPA. The beer will be available from The Leadmill during any of their events from Saturday 7th August, and will be added to their merchandise shop over the coming weeks.
Originally planned as a celebratory 40th Anniversary Beer in 2020, The Leadmill IPA has been created to celebrate 40 fantastic years of the historic Sheffield venue. The collaboration was put on hold due to lockdown and the enforced closure of the venue, but a year on both companies are still eager as ever to get the beer to Leadmill fans.
It’s described as a juicy and sessionable pale ale, packed with American hops for flavours of mango, guava and citrus – the perfect beer to enjoy whilst watching live music, comedians, or dancing away at one of The Leadmill’s many club night events!
Niall Voice, Cellar Manager at The Leadmill, says:
“With The Leadmill celebrating 40 years and Thornbridge celebrating 15 years, it’s great to have been a part of a project between two strong, well established independent companies.”
