Have you ever seen ice cream rolls being made? It’s bloody mesmerising. Dessert parlour Swirls opens on London Road today so you can see for yourself!
Swirls is the vision of three childhood friends who are big ice cream lovers and decided to put their passion into creating something special together.
The venue officially opens on Thursday 31st May and is located on London Road. Most of the other dessert parlours in Sheffield are situated on the same road so there’s some stiff competition!
However, Swirls will be the first of its kind in this city as they serve ice cream rolls which is a concept which derived from East Asia.
“We hope to amaze you with an original, theatrical and fun ice pan production. Using our titanium plated spatulas to break down and crush your favourite chocolate bar, each piece blending into our secret ice cream roll recipe which is topped and lathered generously.”
You’ll be spoilt for choice with the amount of flavours, fillings and toppings you can choose from. Whether you want fresh fruit for a summery treat or gooey chocolate for something a bit more indulgent, there’s something for everyone and they encourage you to get experimental for own personalised ice cream rolls.
For those who don’t fancy ice cream rolls, you can also grab a milkshake made with your favourite chocolate bars and creamy organic ice cream.
“Ultimately we want our customers to come and hang out and enjoy the best ice pan experience on this side of Yorkshire,” says team member Rahil.
Opening times are: Sun-Thurs 12pm-10pm and Fri-Sat 12pm-12am
