Getting excited for days spent in the beer garden yet? Here’s some more fuel for your sunny-days ahead hype: Sheffield SU’s Beer and Cider Festival announced its all-day live music line-up.
Soundtracking your day-drinking on May 6 will be young Chesterfield four piece on the rise The Time Sellers , equally fresh-faced Wakefield band The Gallery and BBC Introducing-tipped rock outfit Floodhounds amongst others. Their headline act is yet to be announced.
If you’re not familiar with the festival, SU’s Beer and Cider day is one of Sheff’s top beery events, and definitely not something reserved for students with free entry to the public.
In Raynor Bar, Bar One and Interval Garden you’ll find over 100 real ales, craft beers and ciders on offer from over 65 of the World’s best breweries.
There’ll be an off-licence and guest taps from local faves Hop Hideout, brewer talks and Q+A sessions from some Sheffield breweries. Not keen on beer or ale? Not to worry, there’ll also be a pop-up gin and cocktail bar. Naturally, there’ll be a number of street food stalls also on-hand to soak up the booze.
