Shakespeares has been voted as one of the top bars in the country by RateBeer website reviewers.
The website is used by thousands of beer enthusiasts around the world and is one of the most read beer guide sites on the internet. Each year, the website honours the best reviewed beers, brewers and boozers around the globe. For 2018, Shakespeares was one of the highest rated bars in the country along with four others, as well as topping the local lists for the South Yorkshire region.
Beer Central and Sheffield Tap were rated the best bottle shop and brewpub respectively.

In October last year, the Shakey was included in the Guardian’s top 10 ‘Best Craft Beer Pubs’, won the Sheffield CAMRA Real Ale Pub of the Year award in 2013 and was nominated for Best Traditional Pub at 2017’s Exposed Awards.
