Red’s True BBQ are set to celebrate their 1st birthday with a range of special events and meaty offers for Sheffielders to get their teeth stuck into.
The Eccy Road venue will host a week-long bash, beginning with a tasty outdoor ‘live fire’ cook-off on Saturday 24 June. Serving up some world class brisket at the event will be the same Red’s pitmasters who competed – and beat two-thirds of the US opposition – at the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Competition in Texas earlier this year.
The Kentucky Cowtippers will provide live music before the DJs take over, while 2-4-1 cocktails and a tap takeover from craft beer microbrewery Legitimate Industries will offer refreshment.
And if you’re feeling lucky, a free BBQ Wheel of Fortune will give the chance to spin for free brisket, lunches, sauces – and even pints!

But that’s not your lot. Throughout the following week the venue will be offering a number of celebratory offers to customers, including:
– SUNDAY 25th: Kids eat free, plus children’s entertainers
– MONDAY 26th: Hand of Red on all burgers: buy one, Red will buy the other
– TUESDAY 27th-THURSDAY 29th: A £10 Birthday BBQ Tray, plus beer or glass of wine
– ALL WEEK: Surprise blessings in each and every Deliveroo order made
