The latest addition to the OISOI brand has arrived in the New Era development at St Mary’s Gate. OISOI Gathering recently opened its doors to the public, joining the OISOI family alongside the OISOI Deli Food Market and Bushi-Bushi Restaurant. The evening menu includes classic dishes from Hong Kong well as new additions inspired by Sichuan cuisine and South East Asian curries. The lunch menu is comprised of artisan Dim Sum, with each piece hand-made to restaurant goers’ request.

While the OISOI brand’s great quality food and dining experience is set to continue in OISOI Gathering, creator Jay Wang seeks to combine these aspects with a more casual dining atmosphere.

“The environment is undeniably more relaxed. With live music also planned, it’s a great place for people to socialised and unwind.”

OISOI Gathering is an addition to the New Era development in Sheffield city centre which, under the managing directorship of Jerry Cheung, is due to be completed in May this year. He told Exposed that he’s enthusiastic about the positive impact of the wider project, as well as OISOI Gathering’s contribution to the new venture.

“We’re confident the New Era Square development will deliver something special for Sheffield and the wider city region. OISOI Gathering is our anchor food and beverage tenant and totally encapsulates the dynamism and energy of modern Asia that we’re seeking to represent.”

Seeking to authentically encapsulate the vitality of modern Asia, the development brings something brand new to city life, and is unafraid to become a major feature in the cityscape. New Era will host almost seven hundred student and private apartments, office spaces, and underground car park. The development is also interested in making its mark on wider lifestyle and dining; New Era will feature a Chinese supermarket, and boutiques retailers such as authentic street food vendors and a hairdresser.
