Much-loved Sheffield Indian restaurant Lavang have today launched an online store where customers can buy special spices, handmade sauces, home recipe kits, gifts, hampers, limited edition gin, and more.
The Fulwood-based establishment, which celebrates its four-year anniversary this month, is known throughout the city for bringing a decisively modern twist to traditional Indian cuisine. Despite being forced to close its doors due to the pandemic, they are currently offering a takeaway service and hope that the online store can help customers bring a little of Lavang into their home while supporting local business during these difficult times.
Special spices, handmade sauces, home recipe kits, gifts, hampers, gin, and more will be available to purchase on the online store.
Owner and Executive Chef, Jay Kawsar, had this to say about the store launch: “As a Chef, I am always adapting, innovating and creating, and this is exactly what we have done here. We all have to stay at home where possible and for some that means cooking a bit more often – and that’s not too easy, I should know! Our online shop has got everything we think you need to get started and much more; we’ve got a little bit of something for everyone made by us for you!“
