It’s no surprise that the beloved specialist craft beer and ale shop Hop Hideout – burrowed in the vibrant Antiques Quarter on Abbeydale Road – has deservedly won the Drinks Retailing Award 2018, a national award for excellence in the take-home drinks sector.
Co-owner Jules told Exposed: “We feel overwhelmed and extremely blessed to come up top at a national award with so many great independent beer retailers around. It’s great to bring the award back to our hometown of Sheffield”.
Also, as Sheffield Beer Week is fast approaching, it’s a perfect excuse to get yerselves down and have a look at (and a sup of) the 450+ incredible beers and hand-picked quality ciders on offer.
You can sit inside their cosy bar, or purchase a bottle (or two) to enjoy at home – they also make great gifts.
