The previously nameless bar at Haggler’s Corner has finally been christened TAKK (‘thank you’ in Icelandic) and what better way to celebrate this historical moment than with a Friday night party?
Head down to Haggler’s Corner on Queen’s Road from eight til late Friday 13 April for a free-entry night of food, live music and cocktails.
The event will feature a live performance in the courtyard from Texan folk signer-songwriter Rodney Branigan, supported by the Shackleton Trio, and a vinyl DJ spinning everything from house and disco to funk and soul in the bar until 2am.
The Hagglers Grill Menu will be available for all your foodie needs and the drinks menu will be offering everything from hand-made cocktails to craft ales.
If you’ve not paid a visit to the Corner before, this is a perfect excuse to check out the site. Once a ‘run down old dump’ it’s since been transformed into a creative nook of independent businesses as well as a venue for hire, cafe and bar.
