Independent smoke BBQ restaurant Firepit BBQ opened its doors to the public on Friday 26 May. Situated at 138 West Street, the venue prides itself on using only locally-sourced meats with all dishes prepared fresh on the premises.
Head chef Matt Eggo, who has strong experience in steakhouses and BBQ restaurants, recently returned from a three-week tasting to Canada and is looking forward to bringing some innovative new ideas to the menu.
He told Exposed: “FirePit BBQ is set to take the ‘smoke BBQ’ concept to another level. Though Sheffield has a growing number of steak house-style chains, this is going to allow me to truly wow the local audience with ideas I picked up in Canada.”
