An opening date for Kelham Island’s Cutlery Works has finally been revealed, with the huge independent food hall to open on Friday 9 November.

The highly-anticipated project from the Milestone Group will see permanent and semi-permanent pop-ups occupy the stalls of the former cutlery factory, bringing a trendy hub of food and drink to the area. There’ll also be hot-desking spaces with access to Wi-Fi and discounted coffee.

Matt Bigland, director of The Milestone Group said: “I’m really passionate about this project, it’s going to be a food destination that gives independent entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their food offerings. I can’t wait to see what this brings to Sheffield and the Yorkshire region.”

The likes of Shed, Bullion’s Chocolate Cafe and Elly Joy have confirmed as traders, with BoozeHound providing the craft ale.
