Abbeydale Brewery has announced plans for a considerable expansion and investment to meet the ever-growing demand for its range of high quality beers.

Abbeydale Brewery has had continuous success since launching in 1996. After searching for a more spacious layout since 2014, the brewery is taking over an additional 7462 square feet of space on its current site, allowing a capacity boost of 20%.

Patrick Morton, the founder and director explains: “It’s fantastic that we have been able to expand right next to our existing premises and have been able to stay right at the heart of the thriving Abbeydale Road community which inspires so much of our identity and is a key element of our ethos.”

Alongside the increase of brewing quantity, the advanced space will also see improvements of warehousing capabilities and new office facilities for the team. There is also the potential to create Abbeydale’s first dedicated on-site events space which is sure to add to the area’s thriving beer scene.

The brewery’s plans don’t end there with the development of Abbeydale’s first ever lager in production and slated for a spring 2019 release.
