UK promoters of all things bassy, Bluewave, will bring the DJ/Producer of ‘Neighbourhood’ fame to the Night Kitchen on The event was initially planned to be at Outside Over There, the events’ companies new premises in Attercliffe, but has been moved back to their old haunt the Night Kitchen due to “teething problems” at the new venue.
Zed Bias a.k.a Maddslinky is joined by grime DJ, Spooky Bizzle, dubstep pioneer J:Kenzo and JG for one Bluewave’s biggest line ups to date. Zed Bias’ seminal UK Garage track ‘Neighbourhood’ reached #25 in the charts and stayed in the top 100 for over a month. Many credit this and his other productions in the early 2000’s as catalysing the creation of dubstep. With the release of his latest album, Different Response, featuring Toddla T and MC DRS, it’s clear that he is showing no signs of stopping any time soon.
Zed Bias will be joined by infamous grime veteran Spooky Bizzle, who has been a firm favourite on the scene since starting out on pirate radio stations aged just 14. His track ‘Spartan’ propelled him further into the lime light earning him world-wide touring schedules and notoriety.
Genre-hopping J:Kenzo will also provide an extended set just off the back of playing at Mantra Festival’s fourth outing. The line up will be completed by J.G who has found popularity through remixes of Skepta and AJ Tracy, which have amassed over 100,000 views.
Outside Over There have issued a statement regarding the change of venue and the cancellation of this weekend’s Dense & Pika event which you can read here.
