Abbeydale is soon to become a cinema one more as pop up cinema company The Village Screen settle in to create an enchanted Christmas wonderland in the old theatre for their three festive screenings.

The weekend of the 16-17 December will see three Christmas classics grace the Picture House: Elf, Home Alone and Gremlins. Bit it won’t be your typical cinema experience; their set up will be complete with trees, carol singers singing Sheffield-themed Christmas songs, falling snow, DJs spinning the best festive tunes and a few more surprises…

And you can catch them all while munching on treats from local traders traders The Gravy Train, Pie Eyed and Cow Boys Burgers. For those who would agree that the true spirit of Christmas is spirits, the Village Screen bar will be serving up festive cocktails along with Thornbridge Brewery beers, mulled wine and fizz.

Check here for times and pricings.

The lovely folk at The Village Screen have 4 tickets to their Saturday 16 December screening of Gremlins and a bottle of proseccco to offer to a lucky winner. Just add your deets to the form below to be in with a chance!
