Nice Like Rice: Fusion & Foundry
Gilles Peterson, Nightmares On Wax, Gerd Janson, Andy Butler and Team Rice
Heading up Foundry on the Saturday are disco and house promoters Nice Like Rice, who’ve put together one of the finest line ups of the weekend. Gilles Peterson brings his eclectic mix of everything from world music to house, leaving Running Back boss Gerd Janson to close with euphoric disco-house and electro. Warm up comes from Nightmares on Wax, while Fusion features Andy Butler of Hercules and Love Affair.
02 Academy
Fuse ODG, Mike Skinner, Cause and Effect, Donaeo and more
Dancehall and r’n’b party starter Fuse ODG heads up the 02 on Saturday, playing a string of booty shaking hits. Co-headlining is the former Streets’ frontman Mike Skinner, who will be spinning hip-hop, garage and bassline classics. There will be more dancehall from Donaeo and DJ Target, before Gotsome and Cause and Effect bring in the bass-house to tear up the dance.
The Tuesday Club Takeover: Octagon
Camo & Krooked, DJ Marky and more
Saturday at the Octagon with the Tuesday Club is all about bass. Austrian duo Camo & Crooked TOP THE BILL, with legendary turntablist DJ Marky bringing his upside down tricks for the junglists. S.P.Y and Loadstar bring more drum’n’bass, while special guest DJ Zinc is sure to change things up with some bassline and bass-house.
ROOTS & Wildlive Present: Yellow Arch Studios
2 Bad Mice, Prince Fatty & Horseman and more
Headlining Yellow Arch on Saturday are 2 Bad Mice and Prince Fatty & Horseman, the former of which pioneered breakbeat and hardcore back in the early 90s, the latter being one the most prominent reggae remixers of the last 30 years. With 3 rooms of bass madness and tons of local DJs bringing drum’n’bass, reggae, dub and jungle this is sure to be one huge party.

Muzik: Code Warehouse
Steve Lawler, Latmun and more
Steve Lawler has been in the game longer than most. One of the most highly regarded names in house and techno, his appearance at Muzik is sure to turn heads. He’s joined by 2016 breakouts Latmun – whose 3 EPs exploded in popularity overnight in 2016 following heavy support from Skream and Claude Vonstroke – Eli Brown, and Jhonsson. This is sure to polish off a huge day for Muzik, with their Twisted Wonderland event with Hot Since 82, Solardo and Waff happening in the day.

Hope Works
Willow, Lo Shea, Chris Duckenfield, & more
After putting out one of the best house releases of the year in September on the highly esteemed Workshop label, Willow returns to Hope Works to headline, having supported Dusky in February. Support comes from Lo Shea, Chris Duckenfield and Sheffield’s finest resident DJs in room 2.

Saturday at Bungalows sees recent Essential Mix star Ben Pearce headline, with support from the Mess Your Hair Up DJs and Rory Phillips, – former resident DJ at the legendary Trash clubnight in London in the 00s, known for remixes of The XX, The Gossip and Taylor Swift.

As you may have heard, The Night Kitchen sadly closed its doors for the final time in June, but a curveball by their landlord means there is time for one last Tramlines party! Sheffield man of the moment Deadbeat and owner of Chip Butty records Dr. Cryptic are a couple of the names on the bill.

65 Hour Party People: Lengoland x Harley presents Basslines
Distinkt, Skelecta and more
The Harley’s 65 hour Tramlines party – yes, you heard that right – continues after the Dusk-til dawn day party on Saturday with a bassline session featuring Distinkt and Skelecta. Tickets are just £5 for all 3 days and nights, which works out at about 13p per hour, – bargain!
