The Tuesday Club Takeover: Octagon
Faithless, Denney and more

It’s the first night of Tramlines and you can’t get no sleep … the Octagon is where you wanna be! Gods of trance Faithless will be doing a DJ set alongside deep house monster Denney, whose Essential Mix set Radio 1 alight last year, to be joined by Kideko – star of 2016’s ‘Crank It’. Support comes from local talent Pedram.

O2 Academy
Bugzy Malone, TQD, Barely Legal and more

‘Walk With Me’ down to 02 Academy and catch ‘King of the North’ Bugzy Malone headlining one hell of a bass showcase. The Manchester wordsmith, dubbed “the evil genius”, has amassed a hugely loyal fan base after churning out killer releases for the past two years. Bassline podium dominators TQD join a host of grime and garage talent including Sheffield MCs Coco and Forca, plus selector Barely Legal.

Muzik Events at Code Warehouse
Richy Ahmed, Darius Syrossian and more

Muzik Events kick off their Tramlines weekend with Richy Ahmed, who’s been at the forefront of the house scene with his releases on Hot Creations, Strictly Rhythm and residency at DC-10 in Ibiza. He joins stalwart Darius Syrossian who’s maintained his reputation for over 10 years with his timeless sound, both to be joined by tech-house pioneers Max Chapman and Pirate Copy.

Hope Works
Special Request, Altern8 (Live), Nebula 2 and more

Hope Works’ first event of the weekend is a proper old school rave, headlined by breakbeat and techno king Special Request, aka Paul Woolford. British rave duo Altern-8’s live set brings the 90s vibes, while legends Nebula 2 fire up the bass with their jungle and drum’n’bass. The second room meanwhile is packed full of Sheffield talent, from Sheffield Techno Institute to Denham Audio.

DJ Seinfeld b2b DJ Boring, Triplepoint

Lo-fi house had quite the year in 2016, turning from minor sub-genre to hipster hashtag in a matter of months after Boring’s ‘Winona’ and Seinfeld’s ‘U’ became two of the hottest releases in recent memory. Catch a rare b2b from both in the intimate venue with support from Pretty Pretty Good’s Triplepoint.

Carl Barat & Gary Powell DJ Set

The Libertines fans among you will want to head down to Matilda Street for an exclusive DJ set from Carl Barât and Gary Powell. It’s the ultimate indie-disco after party, and what’s more, it’s free to anyone with a Tramlines wristband until 1am!

TNK: CADS
XXXY, O’Flynn & more

As you may have heard, The Night Kitchen sadly closed its doors for the final time back in June, but CADS were thrown a curveball from their landlord, resulting in one final shindig for the Tramlines massive! To celebrate they’ve put together a fine line up of house and techno, with XXXY and man of the moment O’Flynn headlining.

65 Hour Party People: Harley in the Jungle
Nicky Blackmarket & more

A favourite late-night haunt, the Harley kick off their 65-hour Tramlines party – yes, you heard that right – with a drum’n’bass rave featuring the one and only Nicky Blackmarket. Tickets are just £5 for all 3 days and nights, which works out at about 13p per hour, and definitely the best bargain you’ll find in Sheffield this weekend.

Dub Shack 007: Yellow Arch Studios
Parly B, Dub Shack, DubCafe and KomatiK Audio residents

Dub Shack are on a collab’ this year with DubCafe and KomatiK Audio, hosted by Parly B of Scotch Bonnet Records. These three heavyweight crews of the Steel City dub and reggae scene will be bringing their finest dubplates for a soundclash for two rooms of bass and pull-ups!
