Last year’s much-loved winter attraction THOR’S tipi bar was such a hit that they will be returning to Sheffield from 21st November right up until New Year’s Eve.
The cosy hideaway will once again be smack-bang in the middle of the Peace Gardens for busy shoppers amongst the bustling streets we know so well this time of year. This play on Yorkshire’s Viking heritage setting is a homage to the festive spirit of Christmas; the bar will be decked out with cosy furs, twinkly lights and open fire pits – the perfect winter retreat.
Maria Farrugia, co-founder of THOR’s, said: “We are really excited to be returning to Sheffield and are confident that this year will be even more spectacular. So start your festive season in style and join us to enjoy a unique atmosphere under candlelit canvas, with a roaring log fire and the perfect festive atmosphere.”
There will be a wide range of drinks on offer – local Abbeydale Brewery will be serving some of their finest produce and, excitingly, THOR’S guest beer will be making its debut to Sheffield customers. In addition to this, a hot chocolate station will be on hand to allow chocolate-lovers to indulge in a variety of toppings for their homemade treat. This along with mulled wine and hot cider will be sure to warm everyone’s cockles.
Food wise, the highly popular Gravy Train will be cooking up a storm, bringing a classic poutine-inspired menu to the event.
As well as Sheffield, THOR’S tipi bars will be popping up in York, Leeds, Lincoln, Milton Keynes and London over the Christmas season.
For Christmas meals and office gatherings with a difference, THOR’S tipi bar can either be hired exclusively for up to 180 people or a special chill-out area can be set aside for smaller groups (minimum 10 people).
THOR’S tipi bar will be open from 10:30am to 11pm daily from 21 November through to 31 December 2017 (closed Christmas Day). For more info click here.
