Exposed Magazine presents to you the ultimate guide to Sheffield’s alternative roster of entertainment offerings for you fresh-faced arrivals. But do you know where you can throw Viking axes, test your mettle in a zombie apocalypse, or just relax with a cup of tea and a cat? – thought not!

Do you like board games? What about beer, or wine, or a selection of tasty treats? Or what about just spending an afternoon or evening with your mates engrossed in friendly (or not) competition?  The Treehouse Café has all the classics, as well as many you’ll never have played before. Everybody loves cats, right?

Put down your axes and leave your raiding instincts at the door. Tabby’s Cat Café offers a far more peaceable experience where you can enjoy your favourite hot drink with a furry companion at your side. Don’t forget to leave your newly acquainted feline friends with a tip for their company though!

Escape Rooms

The ‘Escape Room’ phenomenon has taken the UK by force and Sheffield has become a prime spot to partake in the latest craze, offering both Generation 1 and Generation 2 venues. Maybe you want to test your friendships or properly evaluate your new flatmates, either way the Escape Rooms demand cooperation, teamwork and logical reasoning for success.

Zombie Apocalypse

This one will finally help you answer the ultimate question, that one conundrum that has been the focus of so many impassioned conversations since your youth – how would you survive a zombie apocalypse? You’ll have watched enough of the films to know that you will have to run, but you’ll also have an array of airsoft weapons at your calm and measured disposal. Hopefully though, this will be the only occasion where you have to back-up your zombie-slaying claims.
