This September, Sheffield City Centre will be playing host to a free event for students for one night and one night only.

On 27 September, Sheffield city centre will become a student shopping haven, as shops open their doors after hours for an evening of fantastic student deals and delights.

There’ll be special one-off discounts and offers in stores and restaurants, goody bags, live music, competitions to win and much more.

Live DJs will be spinning their decks in John Lewis, Boots (Fargate) and Primark and their resident busker will be performing all evening on The Moor.

More than 30 venues are getting involved, including Doc Martens, The Light cinema, Nando’s and Boots. Discounts of up to 30% off are being offered in stores, alongside free drinks and craft masterclasses.

Go head-to-head on the giant inflatable bungee run, tempt your taste buds in the tasting tents and pop into the festival’s wellbeing zone for advice on mental health, sexual health and personal safety.

Or try Hallam FM’s “Time Hop” competition – guess the year that 3 songs were released for your chance to win a spot prize.

Running from 6pm til 8pm,  if you’re a student in Sheffield or you have a NUS card, you’re not going to want to miss this one!

Click here for more info and pick up a leaflet in venues across the city centre to see where it’s all happening. And keep an eye on Alive After Five’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates.
