The monthly BBQ bash is back this bank holiday weekend (4th-6th) with a lil somethin’ somethin’ for the vegans out there.

Situated at Summit House car park (opposite Plug), Smo•Fo Pit Stop returns after their debut event over Easter. They will be armed once again with BBQ, beers and bands, but this time they have teamed up with The Closed Shop in Walkley who will be offering a specially curated vegan BBQ menu. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can get:

SmoFo
Founder of Smo•Fo, Simon Barnes says: “We are super excited for Smo•Fo Pit Stop #2 over May bank holiday weekend. We have got a great selection of delicious smoked BBQ food on offer and great music to match.

“We are aiming for a bit more of a ‘pop-up’ restaurant feel. Order your food at the stall, go get a beer and a seat then it will get delivered to you! We are super pleased to announce that we have teamed up with The Closed Shop who will be offering a full vegan BBQ menu, we want to be able to offer something for everyone!”

For the meat lovers, the original Smo•Fo team will be serving up a mouthwatering selection from briskets to chillis, burgers and hotdogs.

Craft beer fans can expect some refreshing bevs by not one but three local breweries this month – Sentinel Brewing Co, Abbeydale Brewery and The Brew Foundation. And Kelham Island’s Modular Moods will again be on cocktail duty.

Some familiar faces are set to return on the music front with more acts to be announced on their social media.

Students can grab a half price beer and SMO DOG or SMO Burger for £4 so bring along your student ID. Members of the Sheffield Bartenders Community Facebook group can also claim a half price pint. Head here to secure either of those promotional offers.

The event is free to enter and children and dogs are welcome. Head to their Facebook page for updates.
